The microfiltration membrane market is expected to exceed $1.3 billion in 2011, according to a study by Frost & Sullivan (www.frost.com). The study, titled US Microfiltration Membrane Markets, predicts the market will jump significantly from its $791.8 million mark in 2004 due to growing interest in microfiltration applications, such as reverse osmosis treatment in the water and wastewater industry.
