According to Dow, the price increases are due to rising transportation costs in the wake of hurricanes Katrina and Rita on the Gulf Coast, as well as increasing feedstock and energy prices.
Meanwhile, Dow has already (Oct. 1) raised list- and off-list prices of all DOWTHERM high-temperature thermal fluids and related products in North America by 8 percent. This price increase will apply to the following products:
