Celerity (www.celerity.net), a manufacturer of gas and chemical delivery solutions for semiconductor and other high-tech industries, acquired the assets of a line of gas delivery products from Entegris (www.entegris.com), a provider of services and technologies designed to protect and transport critical materials used in high-tech manufacturing processes. According to Celerity, the acquisition will expand its portfolio of solutions in key customer segments and is in line with the company’s growth strategy going forward.
The acquired product line includes gas mass flow controllers, vacuum gauges, pressure transducers, and other components used in the manufacturing of semiconductors and related high-tech products. As part of the transaction, Celerity also acquired Entegris’s manufacturing facility in Allen, Texas, as well as gas delivery field service centers in Shanghai and Taiwan.
