The Environmental Protection Agency (www.epa.gov) launched a Web site with tools to assist public water systems, laboratories, EPA, and states in implementing the Long Term 2 Enhanced Surface Water Treatment Rule and the Stage 2 Disinfectants and Disinfection Byproducts Rule.
The site, called The Information Processing and Management Center and Data Collection & Tracking System, provides a central processing system to help manage submissions and notifications associated with Long Term 2 Enhanced Surface Water Treatment Rule and the Stage 2 Disinfectants and Disinfection Byproducts Rule implementation.
The LT2/Stage 2 Data Collection and Tracking System contains a tool for both the Long Term 2 Enhanced Surface Water Treatment Rule and the Stage 2 Disinfectants and Disinfection Byproducts Rule that can be used by public water systems and laboratories to submit required reports and monitoring data, including Grandfathered data.
The Initial Distribution System Evaluation (IDSE) page contains a tool that public water systems can use to determine their requirements, select the best IDSE option for their system, and complete their IDSE submission online.
