The Oxford Princeton Programme Inc. (www.oxfordprinceton.com) is offering a one-day training seminar on natural gas transportation and storage. The seminar, titled North American Natural Gas Transportation and Storage, will be offered twice next year — May 2, 2007 in Houston and September 12, 2007 in Denver.
The course will focus specifically on developing an understanding of functional aspects of the pipeline sector, including agreements, tariffs, operation, controls, and safety to ensure a company”s ability to assess optimal and efficient means of delivery.
Steve Conant, the course director, has over 25 years experience in the natural gas industry with both regulated and nonregulated entities. In a prepared statement, he says the course will cater to all facets of an organization including human resources, information systems, back-office personnel, credit department, accountants, legal, quantitative analysts, consultants, programmers, trade support staff, secretarial, marketing/sales, and risk managers. This course is also designed for anyone involved in the physical movement of gas, ratemaking, and capacity issues; transportation representatives who are involved in the pipeline end; and schedulers who are involved on the marketing end of the natural gas business.
