Flow Technology Inc. (FTI, www.ftimeters.com), a manufacturer of precision flow measurement instruments, systems, and calibrators, opened a flowmeter calibration, service, and repair center. The facility is equipped with a large selection of primary standard flow calibrators.
Located at the company”s new headquarters in Tempe, Ariz., the service center can calibrate most types of industrial flow measurement devices, including turbine, Coriolis, positive-displacement, and variable-area meters. Calibration procedures include Reynolds Number and Universal Viscosity Curve (UVC) calibrations.
All calibrations are directly traceable to the National Institute of Standards & Technology (NIST, www.nist.gov) and comply with ANSI Z540 and ISO 9000 guidelines. Every meter calibration is accompanied by a standard or custom hard-copy report. A history file is maintained in compliance with U.S. Food & Drug Administration (FDA, www.fda.gov), ANSI (www.ansi.org), and ISO (www.iso.org) equipment calibration requirements.
Flow Technology”s Calibration Program Agreement provides a 10 working days
turnaround service for calibrating flowmeters and associated electronics
that are within the facility”s calibration capability. Other manufacturers”
flowmeters and their associated electronics can also be serviced within 10
working days provided parts are available.
Flow Technology also offers service centers in Germany and Japan — Trigas F.I., located in Munich, Germany, and Eagle Engineering Aerospace Co., LTD., located in Tokyo, Japan.
