The American Filtration and Separations Society (AFS, www.afssociety.org) is offering short-course training on May 19, 2008 in Valley Forge, PA. The short courses, eight in all, will kick off the AFS 2008 Annual Conference, May 19-22. Two of these courses are “Basics of Liquid Filtration” and “Basics of Gas/Air Filtration.”
The courses will include sessions on “Basic Liquid Filtration Separation” and "Basic Gas/Air Filtration Separation." These courses will provide attendees an overall spectrum of solid/liquid and gas/air separation, respectively. Basic principles behind liquid and gas filtration will be covered to help attendees determine what type of filter will meet their requirements. An overview of the various competing technologies will also be provided in each course.
Courses will be taught by experts in the field of filtration and separation.
