Entegris Inc. (www.entegris.com), a provider of fluid handling systems for semiconductor and other microelectronic applications, opened of a wholly owned subsidiary in Bangalore, India. The new entity, called Entegris Materials Integrity India Pvt. Ltd. will support Entegris’s product portfolio and service activities, including:
• Wafer and mask handling and shipping products – process, storage and transport, including cleaning tools and services
• Finished electronic products – chip and matrix trays, shippers
• Gas filters and purifiers
• Chemical and photochemical filters and purifiers
• Fluid handling products – valves, fittings, tubings, containers
• Chemical pumps, liquid flow controllers and photoresist dispense pumps
• Subsystem solutions
Entegris has served the Indian market since 2001 through distributor relationships. By launching its own India-based subsidiary, Entegris hopes to expand its business in the country’s emerging semiconductor and photovoltaic industries.
