The American Water Works Association (AWWA, www.awwa.org) is offering a webcast on March 25, titled “Perchlorate, Pharmaceuticals, and Other Emerging Contaminants — Where Are We Now?” The event will focus on emerging contaminants in drinking water and discuss several recent environmental studies that have sought to identify an association between drinking water contaminated with perchlorate and measures of thyroid impairment.
