ITT Corporation (www.itt.com) promoted Charles Cappellino to vice president of Research, Development and Engineering for its ITT Industrial Process (IP) value center. Cappellino has a 25-year tenure with Goulds Pumps (www.gouldspumps.com) and ITT.

In addition to his enhanced role with the Industrial Process business unit, Cappellino will take on an expanded role at the ITT Fluid Technology and Motion Control group level, managing product development, leading ITT’s Technology Council, and formulating technical and process strategies across the ITT commercial portfolio. Cappellino will retain managerial responsibility for the ITT India Technical Center and will support further development of the ITT China Technical Center in Nanjing.

Charlie earned a bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from Clarkson University (www.clarkson.edu) and a master’s degree in Product Development from Rochester Institute of Technology (www.rit.edu).
