ABB Instrumentation”s ProcessMaster electromagnetic flowmeters are designed for chemical, power, oil & gas, pulp & paper and metals & mining applications. Part of the new FlowMaster portfolio of flowmeters, ProcessMaster flowmeters are available sizes from 1/10 inch to 80 inches. The modular design offers a range of liners and electrodes to meet the needs of demanding applications. Whether an integral (pictured here), remote- or pipe-mounted installation is required, the flowmeters feature a configurable common electronics platform. Self-cleaning and double-sealed electrodes enhance reliability and performance. With a high excitation frequency and advanced filtering, the flowmeters improve measurement accuracy by reducing the impact of fluid and electrode noise. The high-temperature design in combination with a reinforced PFA liner improves vacuum stability, prevents potential liner deformation and enables the handling of hot-fluid applications. The flowmeters” backlit, graphical display supports 270-degrees rotation without the need for tools. Standard HART protocol enables online modification and monitoring of parameters. Advanced data storage inside the sensor eliminates the need to match sensor and transmitter in the field. On initial installation, the self-configuration sequence automatically replicates all data into the transmitter, eliminating the opportunity for errors and leading to increased speed of start-up. Alarms and warnings are classified in accordance with NAMUR NE107.
