Amiad Filtration Systems”Amiad Automatic Microfiber (AMF) filtration system received approvalfor use as a filtration technology for achieving the required turbiditylevel under the California Water Recycling Criteria, also known asTitle 22. The company’s 20-micron system received the state’s officialapproval; the AMF system is also available for 10, seven, three andtwo-micron levels of filtration.The system is designed to capture sediment in microfibers tightly woundaround plastic cartridges, and then automatically clean itself with ahigh-velocity stream of water deflected off the plastic cartridges.TheTitle 22 approval identifies the Amiad AMF as a complement to anapproved disinfection process.  Disinfection technologies approvedunder the Recycling Criteria include chlorine, UV or ozone.
