Siemens Energy & Automation”s SITRANS P250 instrument is a compact, fixed-range transmitter for measuring differential pressure of liquids and gases. The differential pressure is detected with a ceramic sensor and converted by an amplifier into an output current of 4-20 mA, or an output voltage of 0-5 or 10 VDC. The output current and voltage are linearly proportional to the input pressure. The pressure sensor also features a compact design, including a sturdy stainless steel enclosure and ceramic sensor. The pressure sensor is temperature-compensated and achieves full-scale accuracy of 1 percent.
