Alicat Scientific’sportable mass flowmeters and liquid flowmeters utilize a nine-voltbattery pack to aid in the metering gas flow, pressure or water flow inthe field and in the lab. Portable meters can be used to: verifyproper operation of flowmeters and flow controllers from anymanufacturer; instantly take measurements in the field; and to quicklytest for leaks in multiple processes or systems. The integratedbattery pack can serve as backup power for hard-wired or wall-poweredapplications during brownouts, blackouts or other power-lossconditions.
