Sierra Instruments”Max-Trak Model 180 industrial mass flowmeters and controllers are nowavailable with 316 stainless steel (ANSI or DIN) flange mounting forgas flowrates up to 1,000 SLPM (pipe sizes up to one inch/25mm).The update  expands the processes and applications where the Max-Trak® can beinstalled. Sierra’s Dial-A-Gas® technology enables the mass flow controller to support multiple gases. The instrument providesaccuracy of +/-1% of FS and repeatability of +/-0.2% of FS. The instrument features a patented,inherently linear design, advanced platinum sensor technology, and avalve that is strong, flexible and forgiving. The instrument can communicateto a user workstation via RS-232, RS-485 or one of four analog signals.The instrument is NEMA 6/IP67-rated for water-resistant requirements.The mass flow controller is well-suited to handle to most demandingchallengescommonly found in heavy industrial applications, such as those found inmetals and ceramics manufacturing, combustion control systems, chemicalprocessing, pharmaceutical/biotech, and food and beverage.
