Reference Calib. for Gas Chromatography

VICI Metronics’Dynacalibrator Model 150  is a constant-temperature systemdesigned to generate precise PPM or PPB concentrations of chemicalcompounds in a gas stream, using permeation devices as the trace gassource. It is used as a reference for the calibration of gaschromatography instruments and in other instruments that measure gasconcentrations. This portable andlightweight unit is a compact, full-featured calibrator capable ofdelivering the precise concentrations required. A passivatedglass-coated permeation chamber houses the permeation device(s), withmeasured inert carrier gas sweeping the calibration gas/vapor from thechamber. The digital temperature controller maintains the chambertemperature at a set point with an accuracy of +/- 0.01 C, traceable toNIST standards. The wide range of temperature settings (5 C aboveambient to 110 C) means the end-user can generate a range ofvolumetric concentrations for both low and high vapor pressure chemicalcompounds, establishing or changing the desired volumetricconcentration by varying the carrier flow. Reduced flow pathvolume permits the use of mercury and other difficult standards.
