McCrometer”sV-Cone  FPSO flowmeter is a good fit for liquid, gas, or steammeasurement in cramped Floating Production, Storage, and Offloading(FPSO) vessels operating in deepwater or remote areas. The meter’sno-moving-parts design provides built-in flow conditioning, whichnearly eliminates upstream/downstream straight pipe run requirements.The flowmeter needs only 0-3 straight-pipe diameters upstream and 0-1downstream to operate effectively. Thus, it can support tightinstallations aboard FSPO vessels, as well as in sub-sea applications.Accuracy is +/- 0.5 percent, with a repeatability of +/- 0.1 percent.The meter operates over a flow range of 10-to-one and supports linesizes from 0.5 to 120 inches. It conforms to the American PetroleumInstitute’s API 22.2 Testing Protocol for differential-pressure flowmeasurement devices.
