Veris”sAccelabar flowmeter combines two differential-pressure technologies toproduce high accuracy with no straight-run requirements over extendedoperating ranges. The meter combines unique nozzle design with Veris”sVerabar averaging pitot sensor. Straight-run “settling distance”accelerates, linearizes, and stabilizes the velocity profile sensed bythe pitot sensor. The Verabar nozzle design produces and substantiallyincreases DP output, resulting in operating ranges tested to 65-to-one.Independent testing verifies constant flow coefficient over the entireflow range, producing accuracy of +/- 0.5 percent.
