Compatible withpipe diameters from 1/2-inch to 16 inches, the Type 8041 offers ameasuring range of 0.33 FPS to 33 FPS. Accuracy (for a measured valueof 3.3 FPS to 33 FPS/-4 F to 266 F) is +/-2 percent of measured valueusingBurkert’s Teach-In automatic calibration mode, +/-4 percent of measuredvalueusing standard K-factor. Linearity is +/-(1 percent of measured value +0.1 percent of full scale), while repeatability is 0.25 percent ofmeasured value.The Type 8041features a 4-20 mA current output, plus pulse rate and relay outputs.The unit can be used in conjunction with various devices, including aPLC, Burkert’s AirLINE Type 8644 remote process actuation and controlsystem, Type 2712 pneumatically operated globe control valve, and theType8025 digital flow transmitter.
