Siemens Energy& Automation”s Sitrans TR200 and Sitrans TR300 are two-wiretemperature transmitters designed for rail mounting. When connected inthe 4-20 mA loop, these devices need no additional power supply.The Sitrans TR200 temperature transmitter is configured using a PC, andthe Sitrans TR300 transmitter can be configured using a HART interface.Both devices feature a diagnostics LED that indicates the functionstatus and detects open or short circuits so they can becorrected. This feature is particularly useful when dealing with a largenumber of measuring points. The temperature transmitters supportall standard RTDs and thermocouples, as well as resistance and voltageinputs. DIN rail mounting system enables the transmitters to be set up and maintained in a central location away from any harshenvironmental conditions.
