Micromold Products” basket strainersmade of Kynar PVDF (polyvinylidene fluoride) provide higher capacity than Y-Strainers, capturing substantialundissolved solids and thereby extending the life of expensive downstreamequipment and reducing downtime. The all-plastic FLUOR-O-SHIELD strainers arecorrosion-resistant and enable higher operating temperatures (up to 300 F,150 C), and cost less thanlined steel or exotic metal units. The strainersremove suspended or waste solids from corrosive or high-purity fluidstreams to prevent damage to sensitive downstream equipment such aspumps, valves, instruments, and/or spray nozzles.Thestrainers are impervious to UV radiation, meet FDA requirements, andprovide high rigidity and resistance to creep under mechanical loads. Applications include chemical, pharmaceutical, semiconductor, paperand pulp, food and beverage, water treatment, and similar processindustries. Sizes rangefrom 1/8″ to three inches, with a wide variety of connections and meshscreens readily available for immediate delivery.
