Asahi/America”sType 21 ball valves feature a pad-lockable handle that directlyreplaces the standard valve handle and acts as a deterrent to preventunauthorized cycling of the valve. The new design allows the handle toserve as a position indicator, demonstrating the current state of thevalve. The handle also doubles as a carrier removal tool, usedfor valve maintenance and adjustments. The locking handle isavailable as an option for Asahi’s Type 21 ball valve sizes _” to fourinches. Sold in “kit” form, the handle enables field installationon new or existing Type 21 ball valves. No tools are required forsizes _” to two inches and a #2 Philips screwdriver is the only toolneeded for installation of sizes 2.5 inches to four inches.
