Burger & BrownEngineering”s Smartflow flowmeter with nylon end caps is a new versionof the proven small flowmeter from the Smartflow line. Temperaturegauge, pressure gauge and quick-disconnect fittings can be added to themodular design. The flowmeter is available in connection sizes of 1/4″,3/8″ or 1/2″ NPT and 1/4″ and 3/8″ BSPP. Flow ranges are available in0-1.5, 0-2.5, and 0-8 gallons per minute and 10 or 30 liters perminute. Flowrate accuracy is +/- 10 percent. Nylon end-cap design hasmolded-in stabilizer ring to prevent thread distortion. The viewingwindow is molded from polysulfone. Internal parts are stainless steelwith nylon sensing vane. Wetted o-rings are EPDM material. The assemblyis rated for maximum pressure of 75 PSI and maximum temperature of 210F. A good fit for injection molding cooling water loops and similarapplications. No special mounting hardware is required. Provides 30% cost savings over brass end-cap design.
