Burkert”s Type 8630control system is a digitally fired positioning unit that provideson-off and continuous functionality. It features a directly connectedPID-controlled feedback loop integral with the actuator. A PID ProcessTune function allows PID values to be automatically set. Capable ofretransmitting the process valve via a four to 20 mA output signal, thesystem is available with PROFIBUS DP and DeviceNet interfaces orwithout the PID circuit. Combined with theType 2712 globe valve, the control system provides an intelligentprocess control/proportional valve that exceeds today’s chemicalindustry requirements. The valve provides 50-to-one rangeability, isavailable in sizes from 3/8″ through four inches. The valve isavailable in ANSI flange, OD tube weld.
