Plast-O-Matic Valves”all-purpose PTFE bellows solenoid valve eliminates leaking of fugitiveemissions to the atmosphere. Designed for environmental safety, thesethermoplastic valves can also be used with virtually all types offluids, including acids, caustics, solvents, and chlorine solutions, aswell as ultra-pure liquids. The major distinguishing feature of thevalve is a PTFE bellows, barrier-type, dynamic seal, which replaces theelastomer packing of conventional valves. The bellows flex to providebubble-tight sealing of hazardous fluids, and since PTFE is not subjectto chemical attack, exceptional performance, and a working life of overtwo million cycles is normal. The valve employs the patentedPlast-O-Matic Fail-Dry safety design feature, which provides visualwarning of any seal failure while allowing the valve system to continueoperation and avoiding costly shutdowns. Piping connections in sizes.25 to one inch are offered in PVC, CPVC, Polypropylene, and PVDF(Kynar).
