Spirax Sarco”s EMCO in-line vortex flowmeters can measure liquids, gases, or steam.Featuring a fully welded sensor construction, the folowmeters have no moving parts or holes that can clog, no internal gaskets that could fail, and they eliminate the need for bypass piping installation. Microprocessor-based electronics provide a variety of product configurationsfor process and HVAC applications. Factory calibration and programming makes setup straightforward. Accuracy is +/-0.7 percent of rate (liquids) and +/-1.0 percent (gas and steam), with +/-0.15 percent of rate repeatability. Output signals are scalable four to 20 mA current and scalable frequency/pulse zero to 10 kHz over the HART 268 communications protocol. A local LCD screen displays both flowrate and totalized flow. Available in carbon or stainless steel, the flowmeters support a process temperature rating of -40 F to 750 F (-40 C to 400 C) and a pressure rating to ANSI class 600. Process connection options (flange or wafer) include ANSI B16.5 class 150, 300, or 600; DIN 2501; PN16; PN40; and PN64 for installation in one-inch to 12-inch lines. The flowmeters carry FM, CSA and CENELEC certifications.
