Parker Fluid Control Division”sSkinner and Gold Ring lines of solenoid valves and the Sinclair Collinsline of process control valves now include a two-way manifold assembly for car-care applications. The assembly featuresready-to-install fittings and appears in the company’s recentlyreleased car-care catalog. The direct-acting manifold contains two-way,normally closed valves with a common inlet port and individual outletports.  The common inlet port allows the water and chemical supplyto flow to all valves in the assembly. Metering options permit chemicaldispensing or slow closure of valves to remove water hammer effectswithin water lines. Assemblies areavailable with two, three, four or six stations, and can arrive readyfor installation with fittings already assembled as part of themanifold.  Available in brass and 303 stainless steel, themanifold is manufactured with NPT connections and offers a 120/60 ClassF IP67 AC DIN coil. All standard coil voltages and DIN coil connectorscan be offered with the package as well.  Car care applicationsfor the multiple-unit assembly, which can operate with temperatures upto 180ºF, include on-off control of water, soaps, detergents, chemicals, and compressed-air service. Additionally, the valve issuitable for air, inert gas, and water with a maximum of 180 PSI.
