Amiad FiltrationSystems”AMF2 (Automatic Microfiber Filter) filter series is designedfor filtration as fine as three microns. It offers fully automatic,self-cleaning filtration technology. The filter media consists of setsof thread cartridges constructed of fine threads wound in layers arounda plastic spool.  The self cleaning of the cartridges is performedby high-powered jet streams.  The cartridges trap solids on andbetween the microfiber layers. The micofiber technology of the AMF2 is agood fit for applications such as reduction of TSS, NTU, or SDI, and itcan also provide effective removal of Cryptosporidium & Giardiacysts.
