Advantech”s eAutomation Group released an Ethernet switch, the ADAM-6521ST, withfour 10/100 Mbps Ethernet ports and one multi-mode ST type fiber-opticport. It supports a voltage range of +10 ~ 30 Vdc for power input,3,000 Vdc power surge protection (EFT), and 4,000 Vdc ESD protection onthe RJ-45 Ethernet ports. The temperature range for operation isfrom -10 C to 65 C (14 ~ 149° F). Other features include: full/half duplex flow control; integrated loop-up engine; MDI/MDI-Xauto crossover; broadcast storm protection; and flexible DIN rail,panel, and stackable mounting. Also, each port has a pair of LEDs thatindicate link status and transmission speed. This function informsusers of any collisions, link status, power failure, and data receiptsfor immediate on-site diagnostics.
