Plast-O-MaticValves’ Series GGME all-thermoplastic, compact gauge guard is designedfor corrosive liquids. The gauge guard is a 1 3/8″ high seal thatisolates gauges and other instruments from a chemical process. Thebarrier seal transmits pressure with an accuracy of +/- 4 percent. The design is based on an ultrasonically welded, unibody construction witha natural polypropylene connection on the process side. The guard prevents dangerous leaks and precludes rupture ofthe diaphragm seal even if the gauge is accidentally removed.Polypropylene provides excellent chemical compatibility and is suitablefor process temperatures to 185 F.
