W.L. Gore’s UniversalPipe Gasket is designed to allow maintenance engineers to standardize their gasketapplications across steel, glass-lined steel, and FRP systems wherevera nonmetallic gasket can be used. The gasketing supportsaggressive chemical applications, provides seal reliability, conforms to irregular surfaces, and protects flanges. It is engineeredto provide bolt-load retention and creep resistance for reliablesealing of steel pipingflanges. The gasketing delivers low stress-to-seal in eventhe most fragile plastic and glass-lined flanges, as well as good sealing reliability across pipeclasses. The gasketing operates at temperatures up to 600 F (315 C) andpressures up to 3,000 PSI.
