Emerson ProcessManagement’s Brooks Instrument QUANTIM QMBS meter supports very lowflow ranges between 0.001 kg/hr to 28 kg/hr. The meter is suited for:metering small amounts of fluids in batch dosing processes; systemsrequiring flow verification; calibration reference for other flowmeasurement devices; flow measurement verification in a metering pumpsystem; and metering fluids in small-volume liquid filling systems. Thesystem’s small footprint enables use in tight spaces. Also, users have theoption of installing a transmitter in a separate location as far as500 feet away. A Brooks QUANTIM QTA transmitter can be used for thisfunction or an alternate device may be used if preferred. Transmitterdigital communications include Modbus (sensor output, no transmitterrequired), Foundation fieldbus, HART, and PROFIBUS PA.
