WILO EMU’sCERAM coatings combine ceramics and polymers to protect submersiblepumps and impellers from corrosion in harsh application environments. CERAM was developedin 1997 by WILO EMU and isavailable in four thicknesses, C0, C1,C2, and C3. All CERAMcoatings are nonporous and have an adhesion level of 15 Newtonsper square-inch. In addition tocorrosion prevention, CERAM offers a high level of efficiencydue to a reduction in surface roughness and, because it issolvent-free, CERAM is environmentally friendly.
