Plast-O-MaticValves’ Series DGV valve is designed for corrosive applications subjectto outgassing, such as sodium hypochlorite, hydrochloric acid, andozone systems. The normally open valve has an internal float thatpivots an arm and seal assembly as it rises and falls. When liquidfills the system, the float rises and the valve closes. As air or gasaccumulates in the valve, it displaces liquid and allows the float tofall, re-opening the valve and releasing gas. The DGV has a _” NPTprocess connection, and an 1/8″ NPT outlet. Valve body materials areoffered in Geon PVC or Corzan CPVC, with EPDM or FKM (Viton) seals. Thefloat is manufactured of natural polypropylene.
