Coastal Flow Energy Labs, part of the Coastal Flow Measurement family of companies, has opened a new regional laboratory in La Vernia, Texas.

Located in Wilson County within the greater San Antonio area, Coastal Flow says this facility has been strategically located to better serve the Eagle Ford Shale play and provides many of the same analytical capabilities, with strict GPA standards compliance, as Coastal Flow”s primary Houston-area laboratory.

Long serving the Eagle Ford Shale region, Coastal Flow has provided measurement and analysis of hydrocarbon liquids and gas since its founding in 1974. The company says the new laboratory will enable its Coastal Flow Energy Labs unit to provide faster, more cost-efficient chromatographic analysis of natural gas and NGLs (natural gas liquids) and further supports the company”s self-described “dramatic expansion” of natural gas field services, as well as hydrocarbon liquid measurement for their central and south Texas customers.
