Pamela Bingham joined Rotork, an international flow control engineering group, as Group Business Development Director. The position is a new one, which Rotrok says is in line with its strategy for the further development of new business, new customers, acquisitions, and external relationships.

Bingham has held directorial positions in the engineering industry for the past seven years, working in legal, commercial and business development roles. She joins Rotork from David Brown Gear Systems Limited, where she was a senior executive on the company’s leadership team. She qualified as a solicitor in Scotland 20 years ago, with a degree in law and a postgraduate diploma in legal practice from the University of Edinburgh. She re-qualified as an English lawyer in 1996.

Bingham has a background working in legal and directorial positions in companies serving industries such as oil & gas, utilities, railways, mining, defense, water, and renewable energy.

Speaking about her new appointment in a prepared statement, Bingham said: “I am delighted to be joining Rotork to assist in the execution of its long-term strategy of expanding into the wider flow control market, which will undoubtedly provide further opportunities for growth.”
