Magnetrol International, Incorporated plans to relocate its headquarters from Downers Grove to Aurora, Ill. to accommodate the need for increased capacity, according to an announcement by the global manufacturer of level and flow process control instrumentation.

Additionally, the company announced the expansion of Magnetrol International NV in Zele, Belgium.

The relocation to a new 221,000 square-foot facility in the Meridian Business Campus in Aurora, about 45 miles west of Chicago, is expected to occur in the summer of 2013. The move will more than double its production capacity, while housing Magnetrol’s headquarters operation under one roof.

The build-out of the Zele facility, which houses manufacturing, sales and administration operations, will double production capacity of Magnetrol’s regional headquarters for Europe, Middle East, Africa and India markets. The expansion is scheduled for completion in the fall of 2013.
