F.W. Webb Acquires Bergen Industrial Supply Co.
F.W. Webb Company, the largest supplier of plumbing, heating, cooling and industrial products in the Northeast, announced plans to acquire Bergen Industrial Supply. Terms of the deal were not disclosed.
The two family-run companies today supply many of the same national customers. Based in Elmwood Park, N.J., Bergen distributes industrial pipe, valves, and fittings to manufacturing companies across northern and central New Jersey. Bergen serves industries including pharmaceutical, chemical processing, food and beverage, pulp and paper, cosmetic/personal care products, textile, and utilities.
Customers will continue working with their Bergen sales and service teams, but they will now have access to F.W. Webb’s resources and expanded offerings, according to the announcement.
The Bergen name will remain for some time and there are no immediate plans to make any changes.
With more than 75 locations, F.W. Webb is the largest Northeastern distributor of products in plumbing, heating, HVAC, refrigeration, LP gas and natural gas, water systems, fire protection, valve automation and instrumentation, pumps, life sciences, sanitary, industrial pipe, engineered plastics, and fittings.
