BLACOH Appointments Aim to Expand Its International Fluid Control Business
BLACOH Fluid Control announced two additions to its management team as part of the company’s continued expansion in domestic and international markets.
Alfredo D’Souza has been named Business Development Manager for BLACOH's new sales regions serving Canada, the Middle East and India. Alfredo (“Alfie”) was most recently with RathGibson, a global manufacturer of highly engineered industrial products, where he served as Director of Business Development for Eastern Europe, Africa, Middle East, India and Central Asia. Prior to RathGibson, he served as General Manager of Fakhro Electronics in Bahrain, and Divisional Manager for Glenmark Pharmaceutical, India. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree from St Xavier’s College, University of Bombay, and a Diploma in Leadership Skills from St Xavier’s Institute of Management. Mr. D’Souza will be based in Ontario, Canada where he currently resides.
In the US, James Burke has been named Director of Engineering. James joins BLACOH from JWC Environmental, a leading manufacturer of waste water equipment for use in municipal, industrial and institutional facilities. As Product Team Manager and Project Manager at JWC, James successfully led the inside sales and engineering team responsible for a line of municipal screening and dewatering equipment. A mechanical engineer with extensive experience in industrial equipment design and manufacturing, James will be responsible for new product development and process innovations at BLACOH. He received his Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering from Northeastern University, and is based out of the company’s US headquarters in Riverside, California.
BLACOH’s international expansion began in 2011 with the opening of sales offices in the Asia Pacific region and Latin America, followed by increased investments in European markets in early 2012. According to BLACOH President, Andrew Yeghnazar, the company remains focused on expanding its global sales presence and continuing to grow manufacturing and operations at its California headquarters.
