Ruhrpumpen, Trelleborg Partner on Water Injection Pumping System for LNG
Pump Manufacturer Ruhrpumpen has chosen Trelleborg Gimbal Mountings for its water injection package for liquefied natural gas (LNG) in Gjerdrum, Norway. The package is placed on a special designed floating production, storage, offloading (FPSO) unit from Sevan Marine, the “Sevan Voyageaur.”
Trelleborg’s Gimbal mountings will be used as a three-point suspension system to help protect the equipment from vibration and the movements of the vessel.

The water injection package from Ruhrpumpen consists of two SCE 10x8x16 booster pump types, and two main pumps at SM 6x13x10. The main pump skid, which will also carry the Lube Oil System, has been designed as a three-point support version, a special design for platforms and FPSOs.
