Riken Keiki Brings Gas Detection Capability to ISA100 Wireless Compliance Institute

Japan-based Riken Keiki, a developer of gas detection and monitoring solutions, has joined the ISA100 Wireless Compliance Institute.

Japan-based Riken Keiki, a developer of gas detection and monitoring solutions, has joined the ISA100 Wireless Compliance Institute in order to offer stronger products and better systems in the future, the company said.

ISA100 Wireless (IEC 62734) is an international, industrial wireless networking standard engineered to serve the needs of process industries.

Andre Ristaino, managing director of the ISA100 Wireless Compliance Institute, says Riken Keiki’s products will greatly expand the ISA100 Wireless selection of gas detection offerings.

Established in 1939, today Riken Keiki offers more than 100 different models of gas detection and environmental measurement products, including toxic gas detectors, gas detectors for preventing accidents resulting from oxygen deficiency, gas detectors for preventing gas explosions, environmental monitoring instruments, radiation monitors, and more.

Riken Keiki was founded through a research initiative with the Private Research Foundation Institute of Physical and Chemical Research, currently known as the Independent Administrative Institute of Physical and Chemical Research, based in Japan.
