GF Piping Systems, a supplier of pipe, fittings, manual and actuated valves, and sensors and instrumentation for applications including water treatment, cooling and chemical conveyance, will be featured on “Tanked,” the popular reality TV show on the Animal Planet network.
"Tanked" follows the operations of Las Vegas-based Acrylic Tank Manufacturing, owned by brothers-in-law Brett Raymer and Wayde King, who build aquariums for clients everywhere, like the one at the new U.S. headquarters for GF Piping Systems in Irvine, Calif (pictured above).
The 1,100-gallon saltwater aquarium is 5’ deep, 5’ wide, 6’ long and includes GF Piping System’s Schedule 80 PVC and ecoFIT polyethylene (PE) pipe and fittings, more than a dozen manual ball and diaphragm valves, an electrically actuated ball valve, plus several sensors with associated instruments mounted in an adjacent control panel. The tank is installed in the market segment showroom of the company’s new facility where, along with other exhibits, GF products are shown in common applications in water treatment, process industries, life sciences, microelectronics, marine, and food & beverage markets.
