    Sage Metering Inc. offers its Paramount Large Duct Averaging Flow Meter System (Model 400-AVG), featuring Bluetooth connectivity between up to eight individual thermal mass flowmeters within the duct, pipe or stack, overcoming the inherent measurement inaccuracy associated with poor flow profiles. The Sage Paramount Master averages the velocity of all of the thermal mass flowmeters in the duct or pipe, using the equal area method, and then outputs the duct mass flow rate and totalized flow to a PLC or SCADA system via a grand average 4-20 mA analog output. It also outputs Modbus communications (or optionally BACnet or HART). Each probe is short (only 15% of the diameter), simplifying installation. The Sage Paramount Master and the Auxiliary thermal mass flowmeters each have rugged reference grade platinum sensors protected in a 316 stainless sheath.
