Metso Automation”s Neles Product Group (www.metsoautomation.com) joined Honeywell”s (www.honeywell.com) PKS Advantage Program — a collaborative effort designed to integrate automation suppliers” products with Honeywell”s Experion Process Knowledge System. Metso”s participation expands the program”s options for integrated control valves and integrated safety instrumented system offerings for Honeywell and Metso customers in the process industries.
Under terms of the deal, the companies will work together to integrate the Neles ND9000 control-valve positioner with Honeywell”s Experion system. In addition, the companies will collaborate to offer integrated partial valve stroke testing solutions for safety instrumented systems through the combination of Neles ValvGuard
safety valve positioners and Honeywell”s Fail Safe Controller and Safety
Manager components of the Experion platform.
