Sundyne appoints Hélène Balligand as pump product line manager
Sundyne announced that Hélène Balligand has joined Sundyne as pump product line manager. In this new role, Balligand will be responsible for Sundyne’s Low Flow High Head product management activities, ensuring the growth and profitability of Sundyne’s flagship products.
Balligand comes to Sundyne from Gardner Denver Nash, where she managed channel partners and direct OEM accounts throughout the western U.S. and Canada. Previously, she garnered sales, engineering and management experience through a variety of roles with pump companies Sulzer, Enisval Moret and Wilfley. Prior to that, she gained experience in the power generation markets working at the Woodward Governor Company, where she managed accounts for large industrial companies such as GE and Siemens. Balligand earned a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering from Ecole Nationale Supérieure in Strasbourg France; a Ph.D. in mechanical and aerospace engineering from Syracuse University in New York; and an MBA from Colorado State University. Balligand will work from Sundyne’s headquarters in Arvada, Colorado.
Beckhoff USA appoints Jesse Hill as process industry manager
Jesse Hill joined Beckhoff Automation USA as process industry manager. Hill will work with customers throughout the U.S. while based at the Beckhoff Process Industry Technical Center in Houston, Texas. He will also oversee sales and market share development in water and wastewater treatment, food processing and more, meeting industry demands for greater automation, safety, digital transformation with IoT, analytics and other technologies from Beckhoff.
Hill has extensive experience with automation technology and the process industry, most recently serving as executive director of sales for Bedrock Automation. Prior to that, he worked for Turck USA for nearly eight years, starting as business development manager of process automation, and eventually becoming director of process automation markets. He also served as regional sales manager for WAGO Corporation and district sales manager for Pepperl+Fuchs, among other positions. Hill earned a Bachelor of Science in business administration, information and operations management from Texas A&M University.
NewAge Industries appoints new members to its board of directors
Plastic tubing manufacturer NewAge Industries named two new members to its board of directors. NewAge CEO Ken Baker invited Jim Henderson and Andreas Georghiou to help plan the years ahead for NewAge Industries, its employee owners, and its customers as the company expands. The new board members join current members Cecil Ursprung and Pat Sacco and are now part of the team steering the strategic plans of the employee-owned company.
Andreas Georghiou was CEO of a network service and equipment provider and has served as chief commercial officer, senior vice president, and director with other organizations. Georghiou consults with several companies on reorganization and strategic planning and has served on other boards as well. He holds a Master of Science degree in operations research, a bachelor’s degree in economics and was a Fulbright Scholar.
