Endress+Hauser subsidiaries SpectraSensors and Kaiser Optical Systems are joining forces to form one company
Endress+Hauser subsidiaries SpectraSensors and Kaiser Optical Systems are joining forces to form one company: Endress+Hauser Optical Analysis.
By consolidating its expertise in the field of laser-based measurement technology, the company is strengthening its focus on laboratory and process analysis to provide customers even better support.
Endress+Hauser has placed a strategic focus on process and laboratory analysis for years. The company supports customers from product and process development to production, bringing advanced analysis and quality measurements to process engineering applications.
With the acquisition of these two U.S.-based companies in 2012 and 2013, Endress+Hauser brought innovative technologies on board. The Group strengthened its position in analysis with tunable diode laser absorption spectroscopy (TDLAS) technology from SpectraSensors and Raman spectroscopy from Kaiser Optical Systems.
“Our customers expect easy-to-use, robust measurement instruments that fit their applications,” said Managing Director John Schnake, who will lead the new unit.
With laser-based measurement technologies, the company offers an integrated product portfolio for analysis that supports industrial customers from product and process development to quality control and production.
