September 10, 2024 (Endress+Hauser release) — Endress+Hauser, a global leader in measurement and automation technology, has collaborated with Mangrove Systems to enhance the measurement and monitoring capabilities of carbon dioxide removal (CDR) and carbon capture and storage (CCS) value chains. This collaboration aims to integrate Endress+Hauser's cutting-edge instrumentation with Mangrove Systems' leading digital MRV solution, Mangrove Nexus, to deliver complete accuracy, reliability and traceability in carbon management.
Endress+Hauser, known for its comprehensive process solutions and measurement technologies in flow, level, pressure, temperature and analysis, will provide the equipment required for precise measurement and monitoring of CO₂.
With more than 70 years of expertise in optimizing industrial processes for economic efficiency, safety and environmental protection, Endress+Hauser’s measurement technologies provide the reliability and accuracy needed to support the precise tracking required in the carbon dioxide removal and carbon capture and storage value chains.
Mangrove Systems, the leader in digital measurement, reporting and verification (dMRV) solutions, will collect data generated from Endress+Hauser’s instrumentation and perform the attribution, mass balance accounting and program quantification, streamlining commercialization through programs that include the 45Q production tax credit, low carbon fuel standards and the voluntary carbon market.
By integrating Endress+Hauser’s advanced instrumentation with Mangrove Nexus’s digital MRV capabilities, carbon project developers will benefit from streamlined carbon data management implementations from the collection and measurement of data through to downstream environmental attribute monetization.
“Our collaboration with Mangrove Systems signifies a major advancement in the precision and accuracy of carbon measurement and monitoring,” said Cesar Martinez, Natural Gas and LNG Industry Marketing Manager at Endress+Hauser. “By combining our expertise in instrumentation with Mangrove’s digital MRV capabilities, we are paving the way for more effective management of data from carbon value chains.”
“Endress+Hauser’s expertise in measurement technology complements our digital MRV capabilities, enabling us to offer a comprehensive solution for carbon project developers,” said Brandon Vlaar, CEO of Mangrove Systems. “Together, we are driving innovation in carbon management and setting new benchmarks for accuracy and transparency in the industry.”
