The Hydraulic Institute & Pump Systems Matter will present a four-part Variable Speed Drives webinar series beginning Sept. 20, 2012.

According to the Hydraulic Institute, variable speed drives in pump systems are now a mature technology that, in correct applications, can generate large benefits to the user in cost savings and reliability improvements.

Julian Atchia, SJE Rhombus, will lead Session 1, and Sean Fitzpatrick, Schneider Electric, will lead Sessions 2 through 4.

Session 1—Intro 101, Sept. 20, 2012, 1-2 p.m. EDT
Session 2—Application and Installation Considerations, Sept. 27, 1-2 p.m. EDT
Session 3—Protection for VFD and Proper Output, Oct. 11, 1-2 p.m. EDT
Session 4—Troubleshooting Problems with VFDs, Oct. 18, 1-2 p.m. EDT
