The Manufacturing Enterprise Solutions Association (MESA, www.mesa.org) named Wonderware’s Claus Abildgren to its board of directors. Abildgren, who is program manager for production and performance management software solutions at Wonderware (www.wonderware.com), will serve as MESA’s board member at large.
A nonprofit organization, MESA promotes the exchange of best practices, strategies, and innovations to achieve plant-floor efficiency. MESA”s industry events, symposiums, and publications are designed to help manufacturers, systems integrators, and vendors improve manufacturing operations and manufacturing quality.
With the appointment of Abildgren, Wonderware will now work to facilitate the sharing of best practices through MESA. As board member at large, Abildgren will support MESA”s goal of delivering technical strategies and knowledge to promote more effective plant operations.
