Fluid Dynamics (www.psgdover.com/fluiddynamics/home) acquired Semblex Polymax liquid & dry polymer preparation systems from Severn Trent Services (www.severntrentservices.com). Fluid Dynamics, which was among the first companies to offer a standardized line of dry polymer blending systems to the water and wastewater treatment industry, is a subsidiary of Neptune Chemical Pump Co. and maintains sales offices in Boulder, Colo. and Lansdale, Pa., with manufacturing operations located at the Lansdale facility.

According to Fluid Dynamics, the Semblex deal will allow it to offer a broader set of polymer blending and chemical metering systems for municipal water and wastewater treatment applications. Fluid Dynamics’ liquid polymer blending systems can prepare liquid polymer solution at rates from 20 GPH to 21,000 GP.
